Walter

Hi! I'm Walter, don't let my name fool you, I am a young man w/ lots of energy and a nose that goes! The shelter team didn't meet my parents, so they can't say for sure. But they think I'm part of the hound family. I love to run! I love to smell! They estimate, I'm about 2-3 years old. I am looking for a home that can help me use all my energy. I would say I have an athletic build. I would love to be someone's hunting buddy, hiking, camping, I'll be your partner for all the things outside! I have some room to improve my manners. Some of the nice volunteers have taken me for field trips and said I've did really well. I don't mind kids, but living with them full time might be too much for me. I do have other dog friends here at the shelter, so I might do well w/ a fur sibling given time to be properly introduced. I don't seem to care about cats, but I am a hound, so I might need to be closely supervised. I'm staying at the shelter, so I'd love to meet you. The shelter is open Tuesday-Saturday 10am - 6pm.
