Walter

This very friendly and handsome Lab/Hound-mix named Walter is a big boy, weighing in at 90 1bs.! Come meet this sweet teddy bear. Walter is an absolute hoot with a great personality. He loves to play and romp around outside with his dog pals named Bizzie Bee, Zaney, Gavin Carter and Ross. In one of the photos, you can see him, the big red dog, standing up against the door. He has figured out how to depress the door handle, pull it back toward himself, and use his head and other paw to pull the door back more. And it's a very heavy steel door. Then he lets himself and others back into the kennels when he's done playing. So smart and full of it! He and his dog pals also like playing in water in our baby pools and sprinklers in the fenced areas. Walter came to the shelter 11/7/23, at age 5 years.
