Walt

"Wow! Walt is a once in a lifetime dog!" according to his biggest fan and foster. This six year old pup is playful and especially loves squeaky toys. Volunteers at the shelter even called him the Toy King because he entertained himself with every one he found in the play yard, tossing them into the air and chasing after them. Walt has had no accidents in his foster home and is well-mannered, waiting to be invited on the couch or bed and sitting patiently while his food is being prepared. Walt loves car rides, going on walks and "prancing happily through the neighborhood," after which he relishes a long nap. He has had positive interactions with other dogs and was gentle with smaller ones. His foster says he adores children, too, and likes to sniff them out for any hidden treats! Both volunteers and fosters have fallen in love with Walt and you will too. Don't believe me? Come find out. You'll see he's irresistible! The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events).
