Walnut

Meet Walnut!! She is approximately 4.5 months old and is a terrier mix. She is on the smaller side and we don't anticipate her being over 40 pounds or so, maybe even smaller. Walnut has been in foster for abuout 6 weeks now after arriving to MA with her siblings. She is a lovely little girl who is ready for her forever home. Here is what her foster has to say about her: "Walnut is a lovely little girl. She has learned pretty quick and has been able to experience some new things. She loves to play with her foster sister. Together they run around the yard romping and playing and hunting for chipmunks. When she is really happy she likes to do zoomies around the yard. She is a higher energy gal. But she also knows how to relax and watch the activity outside from her perch on the couch. She also loves to take a drive to get a pup cup!! We’ve also recently learned that Walnut LOVES the water. She likes to play in the spray from the hose and try to catch the water. A home with access to water of any kind would be great for her! She is almost 100% potty trained as she sometimes gets so excited that she has a small accident. Walnut sleeps through the night on her dog bed and does well in her crate during the day when she needs to be unattended. Walnut loves to go for walks and does great on the leash. She has learned to sit for her meals and treats and enjoys puzzle toys with small treats inside. Like most puppies, she is very curious and likes to explore everything. She loves all toys, bones, and chews. She has met chickens and pigs but she is very curious and loves to tease them so I don't recommend a home with livestock.
