Meet Walnut APPLICATION REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADOPTION Walnut is a returned adoption due to no fault of his own. He is now 2 years old and a sweetheart of a dog. House-trained, crate trained. He was from a litter of hound mix puppies that came from a rural location as (1) of 127 dogs. There were many different dogs that could have been the father and they were all mixed breed dogs. (so the breed type is a guess except for the mother that was a beautiful golden hound named Monarch. His birthday is 5/21/2022 and he is fully vetted. He gets jealous if another dog approaches his person while he is on their lap. I would recommend no small dogs or animals, just for their safety. He is 50 lbs and might hurt them if he jumps. He can be protective and overbearing with some dogs., especially with larger male dogs. He currently uses a dog door and goes in the fenced yard at will with the other dogs.
