Hi, I'm Wally! I'm a super cute male English Pointer mix, born around 02/01/24! I weigh 26 lbs. (as of 6/14/24) and am UTD on vaccines and preventatives. My foster mom says I'm doing great adjusting to home-life coming from the pound. She says I have a very sweet disposition, and I get along great with her senior dog and 4 cats. I love toys, snacks, naps and really love attention! She also says I have the softest ears and cheeks she has ever felt. I hear that I'm a good boy a lot, so I think that means I'm doing something right! Please apply TODAY if you would like to add me to your family! Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.
