Wally is ready to find his forever home! You may remember Wally as one of the dogs we pulled the day they were supposed to euthanized for space at a high intake metro shelter. He’s come so far since then, building confidence and making new friends! He’s ready for his forever home, and we need your help! Adoptions are at an all time low, so it’s critical that Wally’s post be shared so that people who are looking to adopt will see it. Wally is around a year old and weighs around 40lbs. He’s done well with the dogs he’s met with us, he’s met respectful older elementary aged kids and loved them, and even met a dog savvy cat and did well. He can be shy at first but warms up quickly. He walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and has completed an obedience training course. His adoption will include a lesson with his trainer.
