Wallace is a sweet 1.5 year old boy who was surrendered to a local shelter.
He loves to play, cuddle and wrestle with his foster brothers.
His puppy energy and sweetness are boundless.
Wallace was diagnosed with hepatic microdisplaysia which basically means his liver doesn’t have as many blood vessels as it should to filter his blood effectively.
For this reason, he is special needs and will need to be fed only prescription liver safe food from the vet, avoid certain medications, and have annual bloodwork to monitor his liver values.
Otherwise he lives a completely normal life!
He is also heartworm positive and will need to complete treatment for that as well before he is available for adoption.
We expect him to be ready in late 2023 or early 2024.
