Meet Wallace, a handsome 3-year-old dog who weighs approximately 55 pounds and was once a stray. Despite his past, Wallace has an incredibly loving and friendly personality, and he's been nothing but sweet since arriving at his new home. He's a bit of a cuddle bug and loves nothing more than getting petted for hours on end. Wallace is an active dog who loves to play and chase toys, though he's not too keen on bringing them back. Instead, he enjoys thoroughly examining his toys for any defects or issues they might have. He's also a smart boy who knows some basic commands like sit, shake, and down. While Wallace is an affectionate pup who loves spending time with his family, he needs to be the only dog in the home. When he's out and about, he can sometimes get a little too excited and pull on his leash, but he's a happy guy who loves exploring his surroundings. If you're looking for a new running partner, Wallace might just be the perfect fit. He loves spending time outside and would make an excellent companion for outdoor activities. Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (dhpp), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information. We only accept cash. We cannot take checks, debit or credit cards. You may also call the shelter: Office hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm. Shelter public hours for visitation are Tuesday-Saturday 11am-4pm. Applications can be emailed or faxed if requested. If coming from out of town, please call ahead to make sure the dog is still available. Approved rescues also welcome!!!!
