My Story

Isn't he handsome?Wallaby was a stray picked up in WI before he made his way here to MN. He is about 3-4 years old and some type of herding breed. We are waffling between Aussie and/or Border Collie. He does have a long tail. He weighs about 50#. He was adopted for a day and returned because they just found out they were pregnant and simply couldn't handle both a dog and a kid. Very unfair to poor Wallaby.

He loves attention and would love to just be cuddled all day. He likes dogs, cats, kids and everyone. We don't recommend him for small children because of his herding instinct. He goes for the ankles. Just one happy fellow.

He is crate trained and house trained. He rides very well in the car, preferring the front seat where you can pet him often!

Who can give Wallaby the great life he deserves?

This dog's adoption fee is $200 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with Avid microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just email us. If you would like more information on C.A.R.E.S. and our adoption process, please read our webpage by clicking on our name. Thank you!
