Waffles

Waffles was found camping out at the edge of a neighborhood. She would dart off into the woods anytime someone approached to help. In her time on the street, she was hit by a car. With time and patience, she has healed physically and has come to understand that humans can mean good things too! She has been a wonderful guest in her foster home, but she is someone’s perfect forever pup! Waffles is happiest spending time with loving people. Whether cuddling for a cozy nap or gearing up for an adventure, she’s a fantastic companion. She also greatly enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well in play groups with a variety of social dogs. She can be hesitant about new experiences, but with positive interactions she quickly warms up. Waffles has done well when interacting with kids but has had only occasional exposure since her rescue. Kids 10 and up would be more optimal. Waffles has a head start in learning basic obedience and is continuing her training from her foster family. She also has a small starter kit of items she has accumulated at her foster home that they would like to send with her to her future family. Additionally, they have offered a personal training session to help get her started in her new home. The perfect home for waffles: -A human who would enjoy hugs every morning -Soft places to sleep -Meals and snacks -A dog of similar size or bigger, but she would also be happy in a single pup household -No cats or small animals -No drums/live music -No young children Additional information: -Crate training natural -Some general obedience training -Loves working her nose/brain, but is also happily a couch potato -Generally, a quiet pup -Will make you laugh and smile every day! Adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test, and microchip. *Dogs are pending behavior and other-animal assessment unless otherwise noted here. Housetraining is usually unknown, but dogs are often easily trained if placed on schedule in home.
