Waffles #676 hopes you do! Waffles is a 2.5-year-old red female basset who weighs around 38 pounds. She’s still learning the joys of being a house dog and will need a confident hound to show her the sweet spots in life. Waffles has been exposed to kids and other dogs and is happy to hang out as long as there are pats and treats and the kiddos move at her pace. Waffles likes to walk and can climb stairs with no problem. She would be fine on a tie-out, but a fenced-in yard would be another step toward freedom that she can get behind. (Especially because she enjoys chasing the wild things she sees!) She’s fine being crated and is potty trained as long as there’s consistency. Treats are the key to Waffles’ heart—and, as a surprise, she loves vegetables!
