Waffles

Waffles is a sweet baby who had a rough start in life. She was dumped at a cemetery in rural Texas with her three siblings. A community member provided them with some food and water, but couldn’t take them all home. Then, a cruel person began to shoot the pups. Waffles is the only one who survived. She was rescued just in time by a kind family who heard about her story. When her foster dad drove out to rescue her, he happened to have some blueberry waffles with him and those did the trick to earn her trust enough to go with him to safety. Waffles is safe with her foster family now and is beginning to feel comfortable and safe. She has good house manners and is gentle and friendly with her canine and human foster siblings. She is unsure about feline friends, but keeps her distance and does not show signs of aggression or a desire to chase. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. The vet believes Waffles to be about 1-2 years old. Waffles is looking for her forever family and would thrive in a variety of environments. Interested in Waffles?
