My name is Waffle House. I came to McKamey almost 2 months ago pregnant with 10, yes 10, puppies. Now they are almost ready for homes, so it's time for me to find a home of my own. The staff here don't know much about me except that I was so scared of people when I came in that I wouldn't walk on a leash or let people touch me. Now that time is gone by I am proud to say that I will walk confidently on a leash, even past scary dogs that bark at me, and I love going up to strangers and getting pets. I also like to crawl underneath spaces and dig holes, probably because that's how I found safe shelter before I ended up here. The only problem now is that I have become very attached to the nice lady who stays in the office here with me, and when she's not around I get nervous and scared again. I am hoping to find someone who will be patient while I learn to trust them, will give me lots of kisses and treats, and will let me show them what an amazing dog I really am. Will you be my first real mom or dad and give me my first ever real home?
