Wade 24-018

Meet Wade! Wade is the life of the party wherever he goes. He is a spunky one year old shepherd mix, although there is probably has a lot of other breeds mixed in there. He loves every human and dog that he meets. He hasn't been cat tested yet but that is something we can do. You will not find another dog with this infectious of a smile. When he smiles you can't help but smile back. Wade is active and would probably like to be a running buddy or played with in a big back yard. He needs some more manners, but we are sending him to participate in the Paws in Prison program to refine him a little more. Wade is heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $250. Wade is in the Paws in Prison program where he receives obedience training. He will graduate from Paws in Prison on 4/27/2024. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal. This journal documents his arrival from the shelter, daily training progress, and interactions with the trainers.
