My Story

Hi my name is Virgil. I am a male Belgian Malinois mix, approximately 2 years old and I weigh about 85 pounds. I was named Virgil as a reminder of the greatest Roman poet, who wrote the epic called “The Aeneid.” hahaha…I am not the Roman poet, but he probably was too serious of a person for me…. I am so very smart, I even had you believing I was a Roman poet and a Malinois mix at the same time…hahaha…Besides being a clown, with lots of energy, I know all of my basic commands and walk very nicely on a leash. I love other dogs, but prefer children over the age of five years. I will require a family who can give me plenty of exercise, kisses and attention to make me a great family pet. I have never met a human being I did not like, but tend to be a hand full for the mild manner folks, who do not know how to control a smart clown of my size. I seem to always get looked over here at the shelter, because of my size, but if given a chance I would make you laugh everyday of our lives together. Won’t you come meet me today?
