1 October 2008 - Introducing Vinnie!
Vinnie is an adorable 8-year old Iggie. He's on the small side, only 9 lbs, so his foster mom calls him Mini-Vinnie. His coat is dark grey with a light grey color on his face and a little white tip on the end of his tail. Vinnie is a very easy-going guy, but gets a bit nervous outside his comfort zone. He gets along great with other dogs.
Vinnie comes from a home that had a small child and his former owner's say he was really great with their daughter. However, because of his small size, I would not recommend Vinnie for a home with small children. It would be too easy for them to hurt him without meaning to.
Vinnie would make a great companion dog for a retired person. He is not very playful, but incredibly affectionate. He likes nothing better than to follow you around the house or sleep in his little bed right next to you. Vinnie loves to lay his cheeck next to yours and receive kisses or snuggle his little head on your shoulder. Vinnie is a good eater. He adjusts quickly to a new environment and is up to date on his shots.
