Rex is a special guy. Rex’s owner released him to the shelter because he could no longer care for him. He is 4 years old, weighs 53 pounds, and is current on his rabies vaccination. Rex is reasonably scared in the shelter and does not comprehend why he is there. Rex is a sweet boy, mellow and calm. He is friendly with people, likes to come sit next to you so you can pet him and speak soft kind words to him. Rex is a handsome boy with pretty brown eyes that speak of sadness. He is a smart boy, wants to trust people and gives kisses as you speak to him. He likes gentle people and soft voices and just needs to gain some confidence. Rex remains easy going, alert and inquisitive while spending his time outdoors. Rex just needs some extra attention and TLC to enable him to relax. He is a nice boy desiring a special home.
