Uno - Houston

Hi my name is Uno! I sleep quietly through the nights and prefer to sleep in my own dog bed. I love naps and can frequently be found doing just that during the day! I am independent but don't mind the company of other dogs. Generally I don’t seek other dogs out. I thrive on and really enjoy routine. Oh and I rarely bark! I'm not a fussy eater but my foster family will let you in on a few foods that disagree with me. I rarely, if ever, have indoor accidents and foster mom says I am "very reliable" with my potty manners! Oh I know how to use a supervised dog door when the humans are home! When my humans are away and when confinement is desired I stay in the gated kitchen. I get around wonderfully despite being blind! However, my blindness interferes with ability to walk on lead so an apartment or condominium must have a secure patio area for potty needs. Also, your apartment or condo should be quiet because I do get startled by loud noises. I was returned to rescue through no fault of my own. I have a history of seizures, about 2 per month, controlled with medication. Seizures - Zonisamide 2 x day Heart Murmur - Vetmedin 2 x day
