My Story

Tyrus is a eleven month old male giant schnauzer who loves other dogs and people. He is turning into a wonderful giant schnauzer who is just about ready for his new home. He has been receiving obedience training and is doing so much better. He would love for you to come and visit him and see what a beautiful dog he is becoming. He may have a little too much enthusiasm for young children. In time that will calm down, but he hasn't had the normal socialization that pups require. He is a lover of life and has much energy that needs to be directed on a daily basis. He needs obedience training and a LOT of exercise. If you are into walking daily, this dog might be for you. If you have a female dog and a yard big enough for them to run and wear off some of his energy, he might be the dog for you. Tyrus is a pretty big pup but very thin. He needs a good healthy diet to put on weight and help him to grow even bigger and stronger. He is full of energy and would love for someone who loves life as much as he does to check him out. Since he has just come into rescue, we will be evaluating him and adding more pictures. Tyrus is use to being around small livestock and is crate trained/ When he was turned over to rescue, he was in pretty deplorable condition. He has been neutered and is up to date on his shots. Tyrus is house trained and has used a doggy door in the past. He will be a beautiful giant schnauzer as he grows and matures. He is just a work in progress right now just looking for someone to love him and care for him who understands how to be a loving alpha to train him and work with him. He in turn will be your best friend, protector and loyal companion. You can see from the pictures that he loves playing with a female pup about his age. He does need to be in a home with a female dog, not a male. These two love playing together and would make someone a wonderful pair of dogs.

Tyrus is beginning to learn some commands and we have trainers working with him on basic obedience. For a special home, Tyrus will be perfect. His coat is starting to grow out making him look more like a schnauzer. Tyrus would love nothing more than a wonderful home where he is loved and cherished. Giants love their people and nothing can make you feel better on a down day than to come home to your giant schnauzer who will make you think you walk on water.
