Hey there, I’m Ty! I’ve got a little name because I’m a little 4 year old guy –a pretty skinny 36 pounds to be exact. Speaking of exact, I’m not exactly sure who my parents were. One was a Lab, the other is a bit mysterious, but both must have had wonderful personalities. In all modesty, I turned out to be just a totally loving and lovable, good natured, get along kind of guy. I’m a sensitive pup too.
A Safe Harbor volunteer came upon me in a shelter where I was abandoned and so depressed about my fate. Don’t remember how long I’d been there, but I heard words like “shut down”, “I’m so worried about him”, “just curled up in a ball with the saddest eyes ever”. When I heard she wanted to meet me, I perked up so full of hope. Soon I was thrilled to find myself in someone’s loving arms who said, “Let’s get you a home, little guy!” She said I was like a flower blossoming before her eyes and, let me tell you, it felt wonderful to be wanted and hear, “He’s as sweet as can be!”
I rode as politely as I could in the car. At the vet for my check up I got lots of compliments on my polite manners and my silly ears – one is kind of unruly, sort of like “bed head hair”.
I’m with my foster family now. It includes both folks and Labs and we’re all getting acquainted. They’ll be able to fill you in on all the latest news about me. I love feeling wanted and a part of the Safe Harbor family . . . hope we can meet soon and enjoy each other’s company forever!
