August 4, 2006: Mickey is doing well. Thankfully he is a very easy going little guy because he has to be kept very quiet during his treatment.

July 25, 2006: Poor little Mickey is having a rough night. He had an injection yesterday and then another today. He has a temperature and is not feeling well. He looks so depressed. After one month he will go for his heart and lung check and hopefully he will then be ready for his forever home.

Update July 9,2006: Mickey is doing well. He had his first injection and will be getting two more in a couple of weeks.
Mickey was turned into a shelter because, according to the person who surrendered him, he had fleas. He did have fleas, but the poor baby also was positive for Heartworm and now must undergo treatment before he can find a forever loving home. We have every expectation that he will recover and be a wonderful pup for a special home. Mickey is a 2 yr old 8lb yorkie. He has a very sweet disposition and is housebroken. He gets along well with the other pupsters in his foster home. We have had him now for two days and will update when more is learned about him.
