Twig is a 3 yr old mini poodle found abandoned. Poor little fella is only 8 lbs and is a beautiful mixture of black and tan. He LOVES to go on walks and play with a person. Ideal adopter: Household with human who will never rearrange the furniture. Would probably do best in household with adults. The noise and activities of children may be an issue since he can't see them coming towards him and they don't always look out for small dogs.
The poor little guy is essentially blind – has slight vision in one eye to see light and shadow. He is a loving little guy who had a really hard start in life but has so much to give! Please consider him for your pet! Adoption fee: $250

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
