Twain is a 4-5 year old pitbull that has been failed by every other human. He is an incredibly loyal and sweet dog, but he does come with challenges - he can be reactive when he sees strange dogs out on his walks. He has lived with different trainers over the last few years and co-exists, plays, and loves being around other dogs. He needs a quiet and calm environment where someone will understand his quirks and love him more for them. He could live with another dog with proper introductions and time to get to know each other. He has made many buddies in his time with us, and they have all been adopted - but Twain still is looking for his forever.
He HATES water. He LOVES toys and tug. He is quirky. He does very well in a crate but does not do well to be left alone for long periods of time (over 3-4 hours). He’s fairly petite - about 45 pounds. His love language is play! He loves to wrestle and then snuggle for hours.
