Ahoy there, mateys! My name is Tuza and I am part of the Marina Litter. Luckily for me, it’s now time to set sail and find a dock of my own. I’m an energetic, silly pup who loves to adventure and I can’t wait to meet my forever family! I have been working hard on my leash, kennel, and house training. I am happy to report that I've aced kennel and house training already! I'm working hard on my leash manners, but the world is so exciting! Foster mom says I’m incredibly smart and catch onto things so quickly! I have shown some sensitivities to handling and we have been working hard on putting a positive spin on it to make me more comfortable and my training has been going well. I have also been doing work on guarding as I sometimes feel like I have to protect my stuff. I'll need someone who will continue to work on this and who will understand how to manage this with the help of the team at MUR. I am a dog who knows what I want in a home. I can make friends with neutral dogs with a slow intro but otherwise I'd rather not share my space. I haven't met many cats but would need a home with very dog savvy cats and proper boundaries if I'm going to live with them. I haven't met many kids but I can be a nervous girl with loud noises and fast movements so I'd prefer a home with Children 8 years old or older who can respect my boundaries and understand my signals. I’m a goofy a active girl who constantly makes my foster mom laugh. She says I have THE BEST smile and the silliest ears too! I'm super food motivated which makes learning so much fun.
