Tucker is a majestic adult male German Shepherd who was brought to the HSOV sometime during the day on July 29, 2024 and placed in one of the outdoor kennels near the front entrance of our shelter along with his companion (Dale). Unfortunately the individual(s) who left them in our care did not provide any information about these beautiful boys, so we don't know if they were found as strays or were actually owner surrenders.
Tucker has a tan-and-black coat, a long fluffy tail, and a classic German Shepherd face with dark brown eyes, a slender muzzle, and large erect ears.
Tucker is the smaller of the pair and weighs 62 lbs.
Thanks to HSOV Volunteer Brenda Stewart DeWees for assisting Tucker with his outdoor photos on July 31, 2024. Tucker didn't appear to have much walking-on-a-leash experienced, but he did amazingly well with Brenda by his side .. And he seemed more relaxed when they spent a little time together on a bench near a shade tree.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Tucker (and Dale) will be held for three days so that their family will have an opportunity to reclaim them with proof of ownership.
