Trooper

Hi!!! My name is Trooper. When I came to Sunshine I would answer to anything, I didn't know what my name was??????? These wonderful rescue people gave me a special name. If you look at my picture you'll notice that I don't have dark sunglasses or a uniform. I am not that kind of Trooper ( it's OK, I am afraid of guns!) I am the kind of Trooper that was neglected. Nobody ever loved me enough to give me medicine once a month to prevent Heartworm. So you see, I have it. I can't have the regular treatments because of my age and my elevated liver numbers. So I am just going to take prevention medicine monthly and hope to get better. The vet doesn't know why my liver numbers are elevated, but luckily I sure act healthy and happy!!! Every time my vet talks about liver, I sure wish she'd share some with me, I think it's yummy!!!! The Sunshine people named me Trooper because even though I have some health problems I don't let it stop me for one minute. My tail is set on turbo. It never stops wagging. My foster mom drove A LONG WAY to save me, and she says it was worth it. She tells everyone I am sweet and adorable! She said she hopes someone falls in love with me soon, because everyday she just loves me even more! I love her too, but I know she has other dogs to help and if I stayed at her house forever she couldn't help them. That wouldn't be fair. So if anybody out there has room for me, I wont let you down. I am Golden through and through. I LOVE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am cute, playful ,and I have still have loads of energy to play. I get along with everybody! I will even suck in my tummy so I don't take up too much room. I would also be happy to wash dishes if you're not one of those neat fanatics that things cleaning dishes with your tongue is yucky! Please someone out there open up your heart and let me in. I will love you the minute I meet you! Trooper
