Trey was rescued 7 years ago after being hit by a car. His back leg was amputated and he was adopted from a shelter. He was just returned to the shelter after 7 years of living outside. He was not kept on heartworm prevention and is now heartworm positive. Our rescue took him in so that his heartworms can be treated in a comfortable foster home. He is LOVING being an inside dog, and has no trouble hopping up onto the sofa for a nap. He is people and doggo friendly. He knows sit, and shake. He is being kennel trained in his foster home and already catching on. He's an older guy and just wants to chill with his people.
