This beautiful girl has quickly stolen all of our hearts here at the shelter. Treasa was found at the ferry terminal, lost and confused. She easily weighs in over 100 pounds, probably closer to 120. She loves one on one time with our staff and is quick to beg for a belly rub whnever she sees the opportunity. She knows all of her basic commands and walks very nicely on a leash (thank goodness!) We are also pleased that she has been almost fully trained to not jump on people. (Although she has occasionally when she's been super excited.) Treasa hasn't been socialized with other pets a lot and may need to be the only animal in her new home. She is a LOT of dog and will definitely need an owner with dog experience. She can be quite nervous with new people, especially men, and needs to learn about trusting new people. She will also need her new owner to work with her on "trading" and letting go of toys and other valuable resources. She has a wonderful personality and just needs her rough edges smoothed out by someone who can be firm and consistent with her. We all love her here and know she will find someone who will love her to pieces too!
