My Story

TRAVELER (ONCE AGAIN, TRAVELER) HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
HERE'S WHAT HIS ADOPTERS HAVE TO SAY:
"Traveler's one year anniversary with us was Mother's Day this year. In the past year Traveler has been an integral part of the family and for the most part goes everywhere with us. Traveler's primary hobbies and interests include: riding in the car, relaxing on the couch (this is not necessarily a "sanctioned" hobby) Geocaching, going to the dog park, barking at dogs we don't know, sometimes barking at people we don't know (If they look scary or have jailhouse tattoos) eating potato chips and anything with the word W-A-L-K in it. In the last year Traveler has become our best friend and we can not imagine life without him.
Traveler's Original Petfinder Listing
Travis - male, neutered - Burnese Mountain mix - Long coat - Black and brown with tiny white blaze - 75 pounds

Travis is young - probably between 2 and 3 years old. He is gentle and well trained, somewhat shy with strangers, but extremely comfortable with anyone who will give him 5 minutes once they've met him.

He is fluent in commands like "sit" and "down", and he is impeccably housebroken. He is affectionate and loves to be stroked and petted.

With his full and beautiful coat he is in his element outdoors, but his greatest fondness is to be indoors with humans, where he will lie as quietly and unobtrusively as possible for the large fellow he is. Travis is quiet and not destructive - he is appropriate and calm indoors, and he voices only when people arrive at the house. Outdoors he romps with joy and abandon. Although he has been known to abscond with the occasional shoe, he does not chew them, only rearranges them, and is happy and obliging in relinquishing his prizes.

Little is known of his history - he appeared as a stray who was never claimed, and his efforts since that time have been aimed at finding permanence with an adoptive family whom he can love and protect.
