Recognize this guy? It's Reggie (Topper), still loving his big ball, and making himself at home on the backyard swing. He makes himself at home wherever he is! Can you believe how his coat has filled in since you had him? I think, based on that, he must have been considerably younger than everyone thought. Maybe only 7 or 8 months. No matter..... He has also gained a few pounds - about 4.
He loves the back yard - has found many places to dig formidable holes, and has taught Patiens to do same. But most of all, he loves to be with me and follows me wherever I go. He has a great time when company comes and has been invited to all future get-togethers with a group of my friends. He loved the cicadas - otherwise known as chicken nuggets for dogs - but fortunately had no ill effects, and they're gone now.
He does have a temper and gets angry when I have to "discipline" him. (We still have a problem with "marking". But we're working on it. OK, I'm working on it.) He knows he runs the place and can get away with almost anything......except for when he really bugs Patiens, then she puts him in his place!
Anyway, just wanted to bring you up to date on my boy. We're both ve e e e ry happy and hope all your placements work out as well as ours has!
This jaunty little fellow is Topper, a Norwich terrier mix. Topper wandered into our lives, a happy little stray. Topper is a good natured little chap who makes you think of those old movies where the little dog goes on a big adventure before finding his new loving family.
