My Story

Toby is looking for a low to medium-energy home. Toby found himself in rescue because his human mommy passed away, and his human daddy was not a dog person, nor was he in good health, so he surrendered Toby and his canine friend Snuggles to rescue (Snuggles is also available on our site) He acts like a much younger dog and likes to still play and romp around with his foster's other dogs. He is crate-trained and house-trained. He is very dog-friendly and mostly cat-friendly, but occasionally, he barks at the cat. Toby is now happy and feeling great. He had a dental cleaning and had some teeth extracted. He is getting a daily dose of drops for his dry eyes. He is affectionate and loving. Very treat motivated. No anxieties at all. He sleeps all night in his crate. He will bark when first put in his crate until you give him a treat! Once he gets his treat, he is happy and quiet. This intelligent boy knows he deserves a treat for going into his crate. If you have treats, Toby would love to move to your house. He promises to give you lots of love in exchange for the treats. .
