My Story

Tinnie is appx. 9 mos. old (appx. dob May 09) and always so happy to see me even though it was humans who abandoned her. Tinnie and her littermates were abandonded along with 12 other dogs when their owner's home was foreclosed.....they literally left this entire family of dogs and puppies to fen for themselves. Tinnie needed some time when it came to trusting humans, but she has grown to trust and adore me. She will need a patient adopter who understands timid dogs....she has made so much progress and really will adore you once she bonds with you. She evens makes a cute little grunting sound when receiving your love. She will bond quickly with whomever is feeding her and allowing her some space to figure out she is safe. Crate trained, leash broken, learning basic manners (already sits on command for her treats and meals and knows 'stay').....LOVES toys but only after all the stuffing is out and to play fetch with her tennis balls is her favorite and how she got her name......weighs appx. 25 lbs. Tinnie would do best in a quiet home with a calm, confident dog to learn from OR would love to be placed with her brother, Toby. She will not be adopted to a home with children due to her timidness and does require a safe fence when outside (NO exceptions)......home check is required.
