My Story

Tinder is a very special boy. He came in as a stray so we don't have an exact age for him but we estimate him to be about 10-11 yrs old, neutered, completely housetrained and very happy. He is a sable with a beautiful black overlay - we call this a mahogany sable.

His pictures have yellow eyes from the flash, he really does have warm chocolate eyes! But you can see from the second picture that his tail surely does wag!

Tinder is a very fun dog! He loves to play fetch and will wag his tail the whole time. He does have an enlarged heart and some arthritis in his back so he will need his heart medication to keep him healthy. It doesn't stop him from anything he wants to do, he just can't sustain extended play times.

In his foster home, he lives with two young human boys and loves them. He would be a great dog for kids of any age as long as they understand his limitations.

He is slightly overweight for a sheltie. He is about 15" tall at the shoulder and weighs 29 lbs. Losing some weight would help him so we are working on that as we look for the right home for him.

His foster mom says that he is a very nice dog. He is gentle and happy and just needs a home of his own.
