Thumper was originally from the Lancaster shelter, then was transferred to the Agoura shelter as he was a very special needs Rottie. His left back leg was severely deformed and he needed an orthopedic specialist. His right back leg isn't entirely "normal" but he can race down hallways just fine! Three different rescue groups banded together to save this little guy and a veterianarian donated his time and expertise to amputate Thumper's back left leg. He gets along great with only 3 legs and is now in a home with Bernie, our original 3 legged Rottie. This little guy has a winning smile, a voracious appetite and is just an all around nice little dog. Thumper is neutered and up to date on all shots. He is a tad underweight but should catch up soon!
