When I first arrived at the shelter, I was emaciated and covered in scars - evidence of a life I'd rather forget. But despite my rough start, I'm still here, standing tall and ready to find my forever home. Now, I'll be honest with you - life in the kennel hasn't been easy for me. Kennel stress is a real thing, and it's something I struggle with every day. So, if you come to visit me and I seem a little on edge, please don't hold it against me. It's just my way of coping with all the uncertainty in my life. But here's the thing - despite my fears and anxieties, I'm actually a real sweetheart once you get to know me. The shelter staff can vouch for that - they've given me the nickname "Wiggle Butt" because when I get excited, my whole body starts wiggling with joy. I can't help it - it's just who I am! What I really need is someone who's willing to give me a chance. Someone who understands that I may have some baggage, but I'm worth the effort. With patience, love, and lots of socialization, I know I can overcome my fears and learn to trust again. And once I do, I'll be the most loyal companion you could ever ask for. Dog adoption fees are $250.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are a free will donation.
