My Story
Coco and Frankie are best-friends, and perhaps the sweetest pair of dogs one could ever wish for! Coco is a 9 year old female Boston Terrier who weighs 10 pounds. Frankie is a 6.5 year old Pug x Boston Terrier x French Bulldog who weighs about 30 lbs.
Both Frankie and Coco are dog, cat, and kid-friendly. They LOVE going to work with their foster parents, and are the ideal work buddies. They are complete hams who love to soak up the attention. Coco insist on cuddling, while Frankie is often busy playing ball- however flip him onto his back and he is soon snoring in your lap. Both are very well-behaved and easy to fall in love with.
Little Coco is deaf and sometimes relies on Frankie to be her ears, therefore we would like to place these two amigos together into a very lucky home. We would like to find them a home where someone is home more often than not, or one which they can go to work with their family.
Here is more info from his foster folks:
Frankie and Coco!
If you are looking for some easy going canine companionship that includes lots of laughs and cuddles, then read on! Frankie is a 7 year old Pug/Boston Terrier cross and Coco is a petite 9 year old Boston Terrier. They are housetrained, cat, dog and kid friendly and love to be around people. Don’t be deterred by them coming as a pair – having these two is no more work than one. They are very well behaved and their antics will keep you entertained for hours.
Frankie – Frankie LOVES his tennis ball. He likes to shuffle it back and forth between his paws like a cat and will entertain himself for hours playing with it. A good game of fetch also gets him going and he’ll even rally the ball back and forth with you by bouncing it off his nose. Hilarious! Coming up a close second to his tennis ball is food - all food and everyone else’s food. Due to this love for the nibbles, Frankie’s a little round in the middle and needs to have his treats limited and follow a proper diet. He’s great on a leash, great in the house, and sleeps alone in his crate at night very happily. He knows sit and come, though when he’s having a good time running around he knows to come just within arms distance to avoid capture. Overall, he’s very obedient, but would benefit from a bit of basic obedience. Like with adopting any dog, it’s a great way to bond together and set up expectations. Before bedtime, he loves a good snuggle in bed and will flip on to his back for a tummy rub. He loves it if you hold him in your lap on his back. He falls asleep in seconds. The most adorable thing about Frankie is that his tongue is much too big for his mouth and it spends most of the time hanging out of his mouth, especially when he’s getting a good tummy rub. Frankie is an absolutely lovely dog that has a ton of personality.
Coco – darling little Coco. Coco came into foster with itchy red skin contributed to food allergies. She’s on a healthy diet and her skin is clearing up nicely. Coco is deaf, though you would never suspect it due to her daring, loving personality and desire to investigate and meet everyone that she can! Coco is good with hand signals and would easily learn more. When she sees you coming she does this adorable little sneer, which is her way of saying hello. She LOVES to snuggle and get belly rubs, especially in bed, under the covers with you. She follows her people all around the house snorting and sneering and rolling around on her back. She loves her naps and spends most of her time snoozing in the sun or snuggled up in her favourite blanky. Coco is the most adorable little dog ever and her personality shines far beyond being deaf. It really does not affect her at all or her ability to bond with people and be an amazing buddy.
Frankie and Coco go to work with their Foster mom and love meeting all the people. They are very polite and sleep soundly in their bed while everyone works around them. Both dogs are more focused on their people, but really love snuggling together. You would think that being deaf Coco would be more reliant on Frankie, but in fact, the opposite is true. Frankie depends a lot on Coco for companionship and though they sleep separately at night and are happy to do things separately, Frankie would probably not do well being left alone. He loves to be the center of attention and in on the action where as Coco likes to hang back and enjoy taking it easy. As a pair, you really can’t ask for anything more.
Both dogs are neutered, vaccinated, tattooed, microchipped, dewormed, deflead and vet-checked. They are both in great health. The adoption fee for both of them is $350. If interested in them please fill out an application at:
