Meet Thad! BEEN AT GLDR SINCE MARCH-ZERO APPLICATIONS :-( LOOKING FOR A FOSTER FAMILY TO GIVE THAD A BREAK FROM THE KENNEL! Athletic and intelligent, Thad is a hunk of a hound dog. At three years old and 50 pounds, he's the perfect balance of low-key loyalty and sniffing sleuth. Thad is very treat and toy-motivated. Training with him will be an excellent way to form a lasting bond. He already knows "sit" and is capable of so much more. He's a rockstar on a leash and would love to join you on a long walk where he can sniff till his heart is content. Thad lives for his time in the yard and loves to run the fenced in area chatting it up with the other pups in the yard. He keeps himself entertained by tossing the ball around and has the best time! A fenced-in yard for him to enjoy at home would be wonderful for him so he can explore in safety. If you're looking for an independent guy who is up for adventure, then you've found your pup! Hounds are not built for the kennel life and we would love to see Thad in a FOSTER home while he waits for his forever family! Based on our evaluation, we feel Thad would do well in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up.
