You are not going to meet too many fellas like Budmaster (Buddy for short!) This is one happy guy who just does not let the world get him down.
Budmaster was turned into a shelter because his owner could no longer care for him.
His owner stated that he was 14 years old when she turned him in. That is right – 14 years! He does not look or act 14, though. His teeth, energy level and general demeanor seem more appropriate for a dog of 8-9 yrs old.

It turns out that Budmaster made a good impression on several volunteers at the shelter – I think he knew what he was doing.
These volunteers were determined to get Buddy out of the shelter. That is when our Rescue group received the plea.
It took several days for us to coordinate but just when his time was about up he was sprung!!
Everything seemed to fall in place for the Budmaster. A volunteer was found to help transport him and meet us halfway. And guess what – she fell in love with him also.
On the stretch into Houston on the last leg of the transport, the driver stopped at Starbuck’s to grab a snack – guess what!! Everyone there fell in love with him. He even got to snack on a turkey sandwich on the way back.

This guy may be 14 years old (looks more like 8 or 9) but he does not look or act his age. His muzzle is beginning to gray but he is in good condition and dashes around the yard like a youngster. Whatever age he is, he is quite the guy.

Budmaster needs that special home where he can live out his final years. Come meet him and fall in love!
