READ THE FOLLOWING FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION AND FOR A DESCRIPTION OF THIS PET:
Hi, I’m Tessa! I’m getting myself adjusted to be the perfect addition to your family. I am part Aussie mix (we know mom was an Aussie) from the streets of Oklahoma. But does that really matter because my sweetness is my key trait?! I was born on March 18 this year and I weigh about 23lbs. I think I’ve already mastered potty training! I have not had any accidents in the house since coming to my foster home. I definitely do great in my crate, but sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night. I do put myself back to sleep though.
I am a little shy when meeting new people, but if you stick around, I will remember you for sure. I love humans and adore kids! I am getting to know my foster fur animals and do well with all dogs and would be fine with cats.
I love outdoor activities but I can also chill in my bed with a chew bone and some toys. I am quite talkative, but not mouthy. I don’t mind car rides either, I just enjoy the ride!
Phew, I warned you I was talkative! I think I covered myself to this point. I am looking for a loving forever family. Please come adopt me. I’ll be waiting.
Tessa is up to date on core vaccines, up to date on flea/tick/HW prevention, and is microchipped. Tessa should go through one heat cycle before being spayed, on our vet's recommendation. More info to any potential adopters.
We attempt to spay or neuter every puppy before they leave for their forever homes. If a puppy is unable to be spayed or neutered prior to being adopted, the puppy's adoption fee will be $350, PLUS a $50 spay/neuter deposit to be returned upon proof of spay/neuter by 6 months of age.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:
- The first step towards adoption is to complete an adoption application, which can be found online at our website www.roadtriprescues.com, under the “ADOPT” tab.
- Do not use the Petfinder links or email to ask us about our adoptable dog listings - we do not always receive these messages and will not respond to them.
- Please do not ask if a dog is still available - we do our best to update their status as quickly as possible. If a dog is listed for adoption, it means we have not yet approved an adopter and are still accepting applications.
- PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY APPROVED ADOPTERS WILL BE PERMITTED TO MEET OUR RESCUES - WE ARE A FOSTER BASED RESCUE AND ALL OF OUR DOGS LIVE WITH US AS FAMILY.
Thanks for considering a rescue pup!
