Teagan has a heart of gold! She's a firm believer that every human she meets is a potential new best friend. Teagan's deepest desire is simple: to be in the company of her beloved human friends. Whether it's a mini play session…. and we mean like 20 minutes of throwing a stuffy followed by a flop or lounging in the sun or on the couch, she's happiest by our side. You'll find her dedicating much of her day to coaxing you into belly rub sessions but other than that she is incredibly low-maintenance. Sometimes her exuberance for loving people so much leads to an overenthusiastic licking spree. But a gentle reminder is all she needs to stop, if you're not into being bathed like a puppy. While we hesitate to slap the "pleaser" label on her, Teagan's eagerness for learning and practicing new tricks with us is never-ending. She is also great at self-entertaining…. enter treat puzzles one of her favorite pastimes! She'll dive into them over and over. Teagan has good house manners overall. She holds off on going to the bathroom as long as she can, and barks to let us know she has to go out! After her bathroom break, she bursts into post-poop zoomies which are hilarious! She doesn’t need much exercise at all! A home with a peaceful backyard with a privacy fence or without dog neighbors is really her happy place! She loves walks and taking in all the smells! But she is a powerhouse walker, with a reactive nature, so a handler with equal strength is a must. Teagen's foster has also trained her to use a treadmill, which will be fantastic once winter gets here! And when it's time to recharge, she is a master sleeper. She will be your best sidekick for sleeping in!
