My Story

~ Taquito was a resident of the Clermont County Animal Shelter for 555 long days and was scheduled for euthanasia on 8/4. ~ He has completed 4 weeks of training through Synergy K-9 Training and did great! ~ This boy is an incredible survivor who defied the odds and found a new lease on life! Rescued from the euthanasia list, this brave pup's story is one of resilience and hope. ~ Taquito is about 4 years old and 35 lbs. He's neutered, UTD on vaccinations, loves tennis balls, squeaky toys and hot dogs. He is a little shy when meeting new people but is learning that people are good. He is selective with his male human friends. ~ He is fine with other dogs, will chase cats and is probably a little too spunky at playtime for little kids. ~ His adoption includes follow up visits with his trainer. ~ He needs a foster or an adopter so that he doesn't lose all of the good stuff he learned in training by staying at a kennel. ~ Taquito now enjoys every moment of life, cherishing playtime and cuddles with his people who believed in him the most and there is no doubt he will believe in you too! After all he's been through, he deserves the happiest ever after.
