My Story

Foster Needed 07/29/24 - email: [email protected] Animal Profile: Tank and his 2 brothers joined us in Seattle on 7/29. They came from a hoarding situation; a good samaritan just got in over their head. They were able to stay with their mom who is a boxer mix until they were 6 weeks old, when our Texas partner Saving Shelter Strays was able to take them into foster care. The boys are happy puppies doing well in foster care while they wait for their freedom ride to the PNW to find their forever homes. Foster Update: At just 8 weeks old, Tank lives up to his name with his irresistibly chubby and cuddly physique. His pure white coat, adorned with charming spots, makes him an adorable sight to behold. Tank is a little explorer at heart, and his favorite pastime is venturing into the garden, where he can chew on sticks and soak up all the outdoor wonders. This lovable pup is a true cuddle enthusiast. He'll happily curl up in your arms, drifting off to sleep with a contented sigh. His playful nature is perfectly matched by his boundless curiosity and affectionate demeanor. Whether he's chasing after his brother Dozer or simply enjoying a quiet snuggle, Tank brings an endless supply of joy and warmth to every moment. With his sweet personality and playful spirit, Tank is sure to make every day brighter and every cuddle session more delightful. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
