My Story

Tango is a darling Border Collie mix with an approximate DOB of October 2021. He was originally dumped at a vet's office in Platte County. He was recently returned due to no fault of his own when his family fell on hard times. Tango has a strong herding drive, so someone who has experience with this breed is required. He would be a great working dog and would enjoy agility training or other dog sports. He keeps his kennel at the shelter clean and he's working on his leash skills. He tries to "herd" cars, but he listens very well when corrected. He is very particular about his canine friends and may need a slow introduction to any new dog friends. He would also be extremely happy as your one and only! Tango makes an excellent running partner and would do best in an active home. If you are interested in Tango, please fill out an application here: https://www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application FOPAS is primarily run by volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare and are dedicated to our animals for their entire lives.
