Taffy is a 1-3/4 year old blonde Lab/Retriever mix weighing 35 pounds. She was abandoned when she was expecting and left to fend for herself and her litter of pups. She was a wonderful mom keeping her pups safely hidden in the woods until they were all rescued. It is now her turn to be loved and nurtured. She's a sweet, laid back girl but is playful. She is working on her crate and house traiing and since she is eager to please, she will master this in no time. She is curious about cats and have been with children as young as 4. Her adoption fee is $375.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
