We must warn you......Sydney is even MORE CUTE and SWEET than she appears!!! I know....hard to believe...but its true! She is easy to love with her endearing stares and the way she always wants to be near you. Her foster mom describes her as a DELIGHT!!
Sydney is a pretty, petite White Shepherd mix with perky ears and a super smile! She is 1 yr old and 40 lbs. She is well-mannered and obedient. Sydney is a fun-loving, energetic girl who will need a fenced yard so she can do her favorite thing...run and jump! After a good romp she is ready to relax with you on the couch for some belly rubs....she will lay on her back with her head on your lap and look up at you...that is Sydney's way of saying "RUBS PLEASE!!"
She LOVES people, even though she may shy away from them at first, but it doesn't take long before she is your BFF! She particularly adores children, but may be too energetic for families with small children (under 8 yrs old). Sydney is not a fan of loud noises, another reason why she would be best in a home with older children. Sydney is an angel in the car and walks like a dream on the leash. She doesn't bark much either....what a good girl!
She will require daily walks and runs in the yard to keep her happy....even in the winter....this girl loves to play in the snow!! Sydney enjoys the company of other dogs and would benefit from having an active doggie playmate or she would happily be the only dog and get all the attention. She also seems to be good with cats.
We found out that Sydney loves the water. She had the time of her life in the creek at Metroparks this weekend. If you like the outdoors....she is a perfect companion to take hiking, jogging and walking!
Sydney is crate-trained and is very willing to get in her crate....especially if she thinks she is going to get a Kong with goodies inside! She is housebroken, spayed and up to date on shots. She is ready and waiting for you...e-mail us today to request an adoption application.
The adoption fee for Sydney is $150, includes spay and shots.
Our adoption process includes an application and home visit. You must be at least 28 years old to adopt a dog from us. We cannot adopt to renters, sorry!
