COURTESY POSTING: Sweetie - Female - 1 year old - Pit Bull Mix - Medium The shelter staff in Georgia named her Sweetie and for good reason. Sweetie is one of the best tempered, submissive dogs I've ever met. Forget what the media would have you believe about the pit bull. I can't think of a better role model for the breed than this sweet, loving, eager to please little dog. She hasn't got a mean bone in her adorable little body. She has been living in my home for the last month and has gotten along beautifully with my Rottweiler mix and two other rescue dogs. Besides loving to be with people and other dogs, I was told Sweetie paid no interest to the cats at her shelter. She loves to go for walks, though can use classes to improve her leash walking, and rides quietly and nicely in the car. Sweetie weighs about 38 lbs. and is a great size, not too small, not too large. She's quite stunning don't you think with her amber colored eyes and elegant, tall, slender ears. If given ample opportunities to go outside, Sweetie does a nice job at not soiling in the house. She is accustomed to being crated occasionally during the day. Despite being abandoned and found tied to a tree, Sweetie hasn't let that stop her from loving her second chance at life and expressing love and affection whenever she can. All I can say is this funny darling little girl is going to make one fortunate family very happy with her silly antics and endearing personality! Sweetie is UTD with vaccinations, HW- and spayed.
