Sweetie

We are looking for a very specific home for this special girl. She came from a horrendous situation and was completely unsocialized and did not trust people. After spending many months in recue she is ready to find her family. Sweetie is a 3 year old 8lbs terrier/chi mix. And boy is her name fitting! She will be timid and skittish when first meeting, but once she feels comfortable in her surroundings she is a social girl. Her new home will have to be patient as it will take Sweetie a few weeks to months to feel comfortable. She loves to cuddle and snuggle under the blankets. She is content curled up in a chair watching your favorite shows with you. She currently lives with children, but due to her shy nature older to no children would be favored. She does well with other animals. She is potty pad trained and will need someone to help with consistent potty training. Sweetie is a very special dog, and we have truly fallen in love with her as she has overcome so much and is such a ‘sweet’ girl. Homeownership and secure fenced yard are preferred as Sweetie is a flight risk in new environments. We are looking for an experienced home regarding dogs that need a little extra patience and dedication. If you can provide what Sweetie needs to continue to flourish, please reach out to us. Sweetie is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed. This rescue will not adopt out to individuals with unaltered domestic animals.
