Sweat Pea

This one and a half year old mix truly has "an eye" on the future. She was found abandoned with her two siblings in a wooded area near lake Travis. All three of them had been hungry for a long time and managed to charm the people in the neighborhood nearby into feeding them. Sweet Pea appeared to have an injured eye and once rescued had to have surgery to remove what was left of the eye. She survived abandonment, hunger, and confinement in a tiny cage at animal control with her amazing spirit completely intact. She is exceptionally sweet and affectionate, and never lost her trust in people. She loves everyone she meets and is eager to find her forever guardian.

Sweet Pea now lives in a foster home and appeares to be house-trained. She weighs around 35lb and is fully grown. She is solid black. She has been spayed and is current on vaccinations.
