My Story

Suzette is a small girl who originally came to BHRG from Madison County. She was adopted in 2004, but was recently returned. Suzette is red & white, petite, and very sweet. She's been abused sometime - doesn't like brooms or yardsticks and often will shy away at a hand coming to her head. Also, she's a bit leary of men. Once she got oriented in her foster home, she showed that she plays and chases and yordles at you when you aren't paying her much attention. She's discovered marshmallows and chicken and and the king size bed and has decided she likes all. She is a charming little girl who would love to love somebody all her own. About 1 year ago, Suzette was hit by a car and surgery was required to repair her hind leg. She is fully recovered and the prior injury and is a full of energy. She may always have a little uneven back leg, but it does not slow her down in the least! She is playing with her foster basset sister and toys and running and jumping having fun! She is a complete sweetie pie... still loves belly rubs all day long! She needs a quiet home where her humans understand her needs and will keep her safe. She just wants to give and receive lots of love. For more photos and for information on adopting this dog, please visit http://www.bhrg.org.
